Grand Arrival of Obama by 2009 Limo on Inauguration Day
Tuesday, January 6, 2009
On one of the interviews on TV, Barack Obama was asked if he feared for his life, and if he was afraid that someone might try to kill him. He responded quickly by saying that he was not afraid, and that he now had the secret service following him everywhere that he went. He claims that he feels safe.
Now, according to Detroit news reports, Brian Montopoli reports that President-elect Obama will be arriving at the Inauguration in a very heavily armored 2009 limousine. It will be used during the parade and the trip to the Capital steps where the inauguration will take place. It's a little more souped up regarding protection, even though it sports more glass than other Presidential limousine. It comes stocked with "run-flat tires, bulletproof glass and a completely sealed interior to ward off a chemical attack." The present limousine fleet will still be used, but this special vehicle is being provided for the inauguration activities. In a later article, I will attempt to get further details on what is supposed to be the most luxurious limousine to ever be created. President-Elect Barack Obama in entering the presidency in style. Hopefully he will be our President for the next 8 years.
