The Agenda On Inaugural Day for Obama and Biden families
Tuesday, January 20, 2009
At the top of the list is a visit to church. Barack Obama, his wife Michelle, Joe Biden and his wife Jill, will attend church services in the morning at St. John's Episcopal Church. After attending Church services, there will be a coffee break at the White House with President George Bush, his wife, along with Vice-President Cheney with his wife and leaders of the House and Senate. After the brief meeting at the White House, President Bush, Vice-President Cheney, President-Elect Barack Obama, Vice-President Elect Joe Biden along with the wives will take a trip to the Capital.
First to get sworn in is Vice-President Elect Joe Biden at 11:30am ET. At 12:00 Noon, Barack Obama will be sworn in as the 44th President of the United States. Afterwords, he will give his already famous Inaugural Speech. Then comes the signing of cabinet Secretary nomination certificates. An inaugural lunch, review of Troops, and finally an inaugural parade will take place.
Before the end of the day, President Obama and Vice-President Biden and their families will attend all ten Inaugural Balls, and Obama will speak at every one of the balls. Hopefully after that busy day, President Obama and family will get a good nights sleep.
On Tuesday, President Obama has a few important things slated, and it's my guess that he might be up early in the morning.
Starting in the morning and into the afternoon, this blog will publish timely information as the day rolls along.
