Economic Stimulus Bill may be on President Obama's Desk for Signing as Early as Next Week

The democratically controlled House is passed the Economic Stimulus bill today. That is part one. Next, the bill must pass in the Senate but the Senate republicans express concern about the large amount of spending in the bill and criticized the tax cut provisions for not going far enough. The vote in the Senate should take place next week, with a signature of Barack Obama immediately following the vote.
