Jared Lee Loughner Pleads "NOT GUILTY defended by Judy Clark
Monday, January 24, 2011
The murderer of a Supreme Court Justice Judge and others, shooter Jared Lee Loughner pleaded not guilty in court today. His defense attorney Judy Clark did not enter the plea for him, but instead the court entered the plea on his behalf. Loughner's lawyer was asked about the defendents mental competence. A status conference was set for March 9th to give prosecutors more time for more charges, namely for first degree murder.
"Innocent until proven guilty" is the law of the land, but don't you think in this case that the law is being taken for granted a little here. Truly, the only real question here is whether he was mentally stable or not to commit such a crime. Evidence in his residence, along with video tapes and pictures, show Laughner's state of mind which clearly indicate that his intention to harm Congresswoman Gifford's, should be damning evidence enough that Loughner should receive the death penalty.
What is known about this attorney Judy Clark appointed to defend Jared Loughner?
This lady can retire a multimillionaire with the book she writes. She defended, the OKC bomber McVeigh, the Unabomber Ted Kaczynski, Zacarias Moussaoui, Susan Smith (South Carolina woman who drowned her sons in a car in 1994), Eric Rudolph (Atlanta Olympics bomber), and now this guy. Surely she has no interest in really defending these animals, except for the notoriety, but be sure to look out for her next book where she will undoubtedly talk about her present case, Jared Lee Loughner.
