Not every birthday girl lives in the White House. Malia Obama's birthdays are a little out of the ordinary. For example, in 2009, Barack and the family flew to Maryland to celebrate Maiia's birthday. Most people can't take vacations for a birthday celebration. but a simple party with birthday gifts of course is the most common way. Unique gifts are available for ladies. Concerning an 18th birthday gift for girl for example, it's always a good thing to give one that will provide everlasting memories. Flowers and plants are always great, expecially for last minute shopping, but gifts such as necklaces and bracelets will be remembered more. An item that can be treasured longer then the life of a flower is usually a great thing, unless the lady really likes flowers.  But a variety of items can be purchased to jazz up a young ladies' birthday fairly easy.
