Official Portrait Unveiled

The official portrait of First Lady Michelle Obama was released today, February 27, 2009. The photograph was taken earlier this month and captures what many consider Mrs. Obama’s signature style. Shot by White House photographer, Joyce N. Boghasian, the portrait was taken in the Blue Room.
It is anticipated that Mrs. Obama’s portrait will be available online for purchase along with the official portrait of the President. In addition, it has now been added to the First Lady’s White House web page.
BTW: Michelle’s dress was designed by Michael Kors.
