President Obama Weekly Address 3/28/2009

In his weekly address, President Obama sat in his chair and dedicated the address to the flooding victims of North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota. In this time of disaster, President Obama pledged that the government will be active in providing aid and relief to the victims of the disaster areas ravaged by flooding. He also stressed that especially in times of crisis like the flooding, these are reminders of a need for all Americans to keep the sincerity and dedication to service. This past week, as the Edward M. Kennedy National Service Act was passed by the Senate following similar prior action in the House, which seemed to help rejuvenate the sprirt of hope.
