How do Mormons plan to help Mitt Romney win the election? Are the polls accurate?

You may not believe this, but some people sincerely believe that Mitt Romney will win the election because Mormons plan to help him by 'fasting'. For Mormons, it is a tradition to fast at least one day a month, usually the first Sunday of the month,and donate the food they don't eat to the needy. It is during this time that they ask God for special blessings. This time it will be to help Mitt Romney get elected.  Well as far as the Mormon desire to help Mitt Romney, I would sincerely think that he would need allot more help than having people 'fast' so that he can get elected. That is just ludicrous. With this said, how can such a story be out when "It is well understood that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is strictly politically neutral and does not endorse political candidates," in a story by Mitchell Landsberg of LA Times on September 28, 2012.
If a miracle doesn't happen with the help of Mormons  who else will support him. The facts are that the majority of woman voters will not vote for Romney, because they want Republicans to keep out of their private lives. The Latinos will not support him, neither will the African Americans. Romney will not get any votes from supporters of Ron Paul. The elderly, disabled and poor will not vote for him. Certainly not the gay people. No one who is Liberal or who is a Democrat and now not many independents will vote for him. So even though the polls show that the President and Mitt Romney are in a statistical tie, it is hard for me to believe with so many people not liking Mitt Romney, that he even has a chance against President Obama.
