2 Days until the Presidential Election - November 4, 2008
80 Days until Inauguration Day - January 20, 2009

This is the final weekend push by both candidates Barack Obama and John McCain in an attempt to win the Whitehouse. Prior to even this weekend, long lines of people came to vote early and stayed in line in some cases over 12 hours. Never before have you seen these long lines prior to election day, but thanks to Barack Obama and his voters registration push, it might be just what he needs to get over the top and reach that 270 electoral voting mark. Even though, some Democrats were watching the pools to look for signs of tricks.
It's not even November 4th yet, but at least 20 million people have already cast their ballots, and most of them being Democrats. Meanwhile, Barack Obama is trying to put in his 'killer punch'. So how is he doing that? Well, he has the bright idea that he wants to spend the final 96 hours of the election traveling to 8 different states, while the early voter hopes look fantastic. But the Democratic campaign takes nothing for granted, especially since a past candidate named Al Gore lost the election 8 years ago because of 'chads'. That was an issue with the punch cards that were not being 'punched' properly. It took intervention by the Supreme Court to stop the recount after about 36 days of counting. That was in Florida, and Al Gore just yesterday stopped there to remind the voters what happened to him in the 2000 election. Sadly to say at this time that there are still many issues regarding voting machines. Al Gore also reminded the people "Take if from me, every vote matters," He lost the election by as little as 500 votes.
