McCain and Company continuing to Push the Country towards the 'Fiscal Cliff'

Saturday, December 1, 2012

Continuing with a relentless attack on the United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice, the three Senators earning the name of the 'Three Stooges' are continuing to display their shameful behavior. Do they really have a case against the Ambassador? The real answer is 'NO'. But what this whole scenario represents is a continued GOP war against Barack Obama, which apparently will last for the next four years. No American who is familiar with the shenanigans of  Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Kelly Ayotte would even believe that this is really about Susan Rice. But she has become the scapegoat of the first Republican offensive against President Barack Obama since the Presidential election.
These tactics are nothing new from the Republican Senators, and to me it's just amazing how this governing group would be allowed to deliberately attempt to do everything they can to make President Obama look bad. This is so obvious to the voters. Presently, these good for nothing Senators are still holding out on the tax cuts for the middle class just because they are not for the rich gaining more responsibility to do their fair share with raised taxes, similar to the rates that the upper class owned during the Clinton presidency. But what will happen if the fiscal cliff is not avoided will be that the Republican ignorance will backfire on them. Continued 'do-nothing-tactics will earn these Senators a loss for their Senate seat in 2016.
The bottom line here is that the Senators refuse to believe that they must deal with a democratic president named Barack Obama for the next four years. What they don't realize is that if they do not start delivering in Congress for the betterment of the people and not for their own personal interests, their actions will affect every person, regardless if you are from the middle class or not.

Democrats Already Favored to Win in 2016

Monday, November 19, 2012

Why does it seem to always be an uphill battle for the Republicans every election, excluding the policies of each party? Before the voting even begins each election year, there are a certain number of states, namely 18 that traditionally vote Democrat. Here is the  'blue' list and  a main reason why the Democrats may win again in 2016 unless a qualified, well liked, viable candidate for the Republican nominee is found.

Maryland
Delaware
Pennsylvania
New Jersey
New York
Connecticut
Rhode Island
Massachusetts
Vermont
Maine
California
Oregon
Washington State
Hawaii
Illinois
Michigan
Minnesota
Wisconsin

Besides the 18 states listed above, add the District of Columbia. So right from the start, the Democratic nominee, and in this case President Obama, had a start of 242 electoral votes before even campaigning. All that was needed is a mere 28 electoral votes. Many people who watch the elections for the first time during an election are not aware of that. What they may be aware of is that the Republicans knowing these facts tried to steal the states of Pennsylvania, Minnesota and Michigan during the election this year, but failed to do so. They did not have many options.
In the case of President Obama, he was worried loosing some of those traditional 'blue' states, because of his limited successes and failures in his first term, along with the lies spilled out by the Republican campaign about the Democratic candidates. The President was only hovering around 50% in popularity overall, but to his advantage, he was extremely popular among the middle class, mainly blacks and Hispanics along with a majority of women voters.
The choices and beliefs of the Republican party and the presidential candidate this year, Mitt Romney made it easy for President Obama to regain the White House for the second term with ease.
Now the Republican party is in need of a new leader, new policies and a new referendum to run on. The beginning of the Presidents second term begins very soon, so it really is not in the mainstream Republican's idea to wait until the next election in 2016 takes place. Yes, they will not have to contend with President Obama as he will be ineligible to run for a 3rd term. At the top of the list already in mention is the present Democratic Vice-President Joe Biden, and the present Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton. For the short term, the Republicans already know the status of each of these 2 people for the next four years. Vice President Biden will continue to be the Vice-President, no surprise  Hilary Clinton plans to retire in January, and talks are that President Obama may nominate Susan Rice, who is already being strongly opposed by Senator John McCain. In another botched attempt to put down a good person for a nomination, Senator McCain will prove how he continues to spoil possible future Republican chances for successful elections in the future. Instead of concentrating on what will be necessary to beat the next Democratic candidate in 2016, he continues to wage a war against someone who is extremely qualified for the job of Secretary of State, instead of going after President Obama. Time will only tell if John McCain fights with President Obama if Susan Rice is nominated by the President.

Who will be the next Republican nominee for President? Will it be John McCain, Sarah Palin, or how about Paul Ryan? Mitt Romney will never get a renomination from the Republicans. How about Marco Rubio, or is he even qualified to run?! How about Governor Bobby Jindal from Louisiana. Jindal overlooked possibilities of a vice-presidential candidate with John McCain in 2008 and with Mitt Romney in 2012. Who else is qualified to run? So what the republicans need to do is decide who may run against a Democrat in 2016 or soon they may be looking at the possibility of not having a good candidate for 2016. Oh yes, don't let me forget about Rick Santurum who almost beat Mitt Romney for the Republican nomination this year. Truthfully, I'm hoping that Rick Santorum is picked in 2016, because the win for the Democrats will in the bag again for the next election and possibly for the 2020 election if Santorum becomes the nominee for the Republicans in the next campaign.

McCain - U.S. Should board N. Korean Ship

Sunday, June 21, 2009

WASHINGTON — Sen. John McCain says the U.S. should board a North Korean ship it is tracking if hard evidence shows it is carrying missiles or other cargo in violation of U.N. resolutions.
McCain says that such cargo would contribute to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction to nations that pose a direct threat to the United States.
South Korean media reported Sunday that the ship was sailing toward Myanmar via Singapore.

John McCain vs. Barack Obama for President

Friday, August 1, 2008

Who would have ever thought that John McCain, a famous war hero born on August 29, 1936 would be a candidate for President of the United States for the Republican Party in 2008. But he is the candidate.
Who would have ever thought that Barrack Obama, a new Senator from Illinois born on August 4th, 1961, a black man would be running for President of the United States for the Democratic Party in 2008. But he is the candidate.

They are as opposite as their skin, white and black and are pretty different in many other ways.

Did you know that John McCain has never owned a personal computer, let alone doesn't even know how to use one. Back in his lively adult days, say 30 years ago, back in 1978 when he was already 42 years old then, the computer age was just coming into being. Now he is 71, shortly to become 72 years old, and openly admits not knowing how to run a computer, but qualified to run as President of the United States. If he is elected, he may be running for his second term in the year of 2012 at the age of 76 years of age, approximately 100 years after the Titanic sank.

Barrack Obama is very technically minded, computer literate and sports a Blackberry that he constantly uses in his campaign and daily life. He will be 47 on his next birthday. As witnessed by browsing his campaign web site, Barrack truly understands the technical age we now live in.

Did you know that John McCain retired from the US Navy as a Captain in 1981 and became a U.S. Senator in 1986 and lost his bid to the White House by our current President George W. Bush in the year 2000. Political enemies back in those days, both Bush and McCain are now good friends and President Bush fully supports John McCain mainly because he doesn't have a choice. John is the presumptive Republican Party nominee whether George Bush likes it or not. How ironic that now John McCain has the support of our President, but is it really healthy for him to stand next to a President that could and most likely will be the reason why he will loose the election to a black man in 2008.

Did you know that Barrack Obama was born in the state of Hawaii. Did you know that his mother was white? Did you know that he studied law at Harvard University beginning in 1988, worked as a civil rights organizer and practiced as a civil rights attorney in Illinois, then the U.S. State Legislature from 1997-2004. He delivered a brilliant keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in July 2004. Another stark contrast between Barrack Obama and John McCain is that Barrack never served in the Armed Forces.

Did you know that John McCain once stated that if necessary, he would be willing to keep our forces in Iraq "for the next 100 years".
How about Barrack Obama stating that he plans to "bring all of the troops home in 15 months".
